You may be asking, what qualifies a pizza making comedy magician to design workout programs? A fair question indeed! In 2002 I took a break from performing to pursue a career in the fitness industry. In 2004 I became a certified personal trainer. In 2005, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. I've since worked with marathoners, high school, NCAA Division 1 & 3 as well as professional athletes (NHL).
Now? I like to balance the fitness and fun as I develop strength and conditioning programs for distance runners and fitness enthusiasts who want to look, feel and perform better...and EARN THEIR PIZZA!
I don't screw around in the gym! Well actually I do because I like to have fun! While I do take your training seriously, I'll also crack some jokes, dance around and I LOVE to throw medicine balls! Let's not take this shit too seriously eh?
As a minimalist, I don't think training should be complicated! With everything I’ve learned along the way so far, I can confidently say that the basics still work. No matter how fancy you get with your exercises or the tools you use in the gym, the three planes of movement never change nor have the ways in which the body is designed to function and perform.
